Mark A. Fisher, PE, President

Mr. Fisher has more than 18 years of engineering experience in the design, project management and construction oversight of Electrical and Instrumentation systems for projects throughout the United States. His experience includes preliminary design memorandums & feasibility studies, electrical and instrumentation design, system analysis, power coordination, arc flash hazard assessments, and construction inspections.

Ryan K. Downey, P.E. Electrical Engineer

His experience includes electrical and instrumentation design, power coordination studies, transient motor starting analysis, arc flash hazard assessments, and construction inspections.

Daniel D. Lanning, CEP, Director Management Consulting

Mr. Lanning is a management consultant with over 30 years of experience in utility rates and financial planning matters. He has prepared and served as an expert witness supporting scores of cost of service, asset valuation, and financial feasibility and management studies for public and private electric, water, and sewer utilities. Mr. Lanning has served as project manager and task leader on numerous energy economic feasibility and management studies, as well as electric deregulation planning, energy procurement, and negotiation support.

Elvis Mackenroth, P.E. Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Mr. Mackenroth’s experience includes instrumentation & control system design for the oil & gas, water & wastewater, semiconductor, petroleum refining and chemical processing industries and application engineering services for projects throughout the U.S., including over twenty (20) years of experience in applications engineering gained prior to joining 3rd GEN. His experience includes project management, subcontractor oversight, programmable logic controller (PLC) programming, human machine interface (HMI) software development and configuration, field startup, testing, troubleshooting, documentation and training.

PLC experience includes Allen Bradley PLC-5, SLC-500 and ControlLogix PLCs using RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500 and RSLogic 5000 programming software; Modicon, Modsoft, and Siemens 505 PLCs using TISoft and HMI experience includes Wonderware by Invensys, Proficy iFIX and Fix32 by GE Fanuc.

Adam D. Butt, CCNA, Network & Software Engineer

Mr. Butt is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with more than 8 years of experience as an electrical/instrumentation designer for multiple water & wastewater, oil & gas and industrial projects. His experience includes a custom turbidity monitoring application and he is currently developing a custom power monitoring application for one of our clients.
